Who We Are

CLUB DES BLÉS D’OR DE LA CHAPELLE SAINT URSIN – Association des Aînés Ruraux is a local community association dedicated to seniors living in La Chapelle-Saint-Ursin and the surrounding rural area. Rooted in shared values of solidarity, friendship, and mutual respect, our association exists to bring people together, strengthen social bonds, and promote a fulfilling and active life for older adults.

Our club was created from a simple but essential observation: human connection is fundamental at every stage of life. As time passes, opportunities for social interaction can diminish, and isolation may gradually take hold. Our association was founded to respond to this reality by offering seniors a welcoming space where they can meet others, share experiences, remain active, and feel fully included in community life.

A Community Built on Friendship and Solidarity

At the heart of our association lies a strong commitment to friendship. We believe that meaningful relationships are essential for well-being, confidence, and happiness. Our club provides an environment where seniors can form new friendships, maintain existing ones, and enjoy moments of exchange in a spirit of trust and kindness.

Solidarity is another core pillar of who we are. Members support one another through attentive listening, shared experiences, and mutual help. Whether someone needs advice, encouragement, or simply company, the association aims to be a place where no one feels alone or forgotten.

A Place to Belong

Belonging is fundamental to human dignity. Our association offers seniors a sense of belonging by creating opportunities to participate, contribute, and feel useful. Each member is recognized as an individual with a unique history, skills, and voice.

We value diversity of backgrounds and experiences, and we believe that everyone has something meaningful to share. By encouraging participation and involvement, we ensure that each member feels respected and appreciated.

Supporting Seniors in Everyday Life

Beyond social activities, our association plays an important role in informing, advising, and supporting its members. Aging can bring questions, challenges, and changes, and navigating these moments is easier when one is not alone.

We strive to provide guidance, orientation, and reassurance whenever possible. Through dialogue and collective knowledge, we help members better understand their options and feel supported in their daily lives. Our approach is based on listening, empathy, and respect for individual situations.

Bringing Life to the Local Community

The CLUB DES BLÉS D’OR DE LA CHAPELLE SAINT URSIN – Association des Aînés Ruraux is deeply connected to the life of the municipality. Our activities contribute to the social and cultural vitality of La Chapelle-Saint-Ursin by encouraging participation, interaction, and shared moments.

We organize a wide range of activities designed to stimulate both body and mind, including cultural events, leisure activities, outings, and adapted physical activities. These moments are not only opportunities for enjoyment, but also for learning, movement, and personal fulfillment.

Our association actively participates in the animation of local life and helps maintain strong ties between generations and residents.

Activities Designed for Well-Being

Well-being is at the center of everything we do. Our activities are designed to promote physical health, mental stimulation, and emotional balance. We believe that staying active, curious, and socially engaged contributes to a better quality of life.

Cultural activities stimulate curiosity and creativity, while leisure and sporting activities encourage movement and vitality. Outings provide opportunities to discover new places, break daily routines, and share memorable experiences.

All activities are organized with care, taking into account the needs, abilities, and interests of our members.

Giving Seniors a Collective Voice

Our association also acts as a collective voice for its members. We believe that seniors should be heard, respected, and represented within the community. By bringing people together, we allow shared concerns, ideas, and aspirations to be expressed collectively.

This collective dimension strengthens confidence and reinforces the feeling of being an active and valued part of society. Our association promotes dialogue, expression, and participation, ensuring that members feel empowered rather than isolated.

Values That Guide Our Actions

Everything we do is guided by clear and enduring values:

  • Respect for individuals and their life paths
  • Friendship and mutual support
  • Listening and empathy
  • Inclusion and participation
  • Commitment to local community life

These values shape our daily actions and guide our decisions. They ensure that the association remains a safe, welcoming, and positive space for all members.

A Welcoming and Open Association

We are an open and welcoming association. Anyone who shares our values and wishes to participate in our activities is welcome to join us. Whether someone is newly retired, long retired, or simply looking for social connection, our doors are open.

Joining the association means becoming part of a group that values people above all else. It means sharing moments, building relationships, and contributing to a collective spirit of warmth and conviviality.

Looking to the Future

While deeply rooted in tradition and local values, our association also looks toward the future. We continuously adapt our activities and approaches to respond to the evolving needs of seniors and the community.

Our goal is to ensure continuity, relevance, and vitality, so that future generations of seniors can also benefit from a strong, supportive, and dynamic association.

Who We Are, Above All

Above all, we are people brought together by the desire to connect, share, and support one another.
We are a community where friendship grows, where solidarity is lived daily, and where seniors are respected, active, and valued.

The CLUB DES BLÉS D’OR DE LA CHAPELLE SAINT URSIN – Association des Aînés Ruraux is not just an association. It is a place of connection, dignity, and shared humanity.
